ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

I think very well that we have English like a subject in the University, as independent use or not, always it´s good learn knowledge new and now the word is with de information so expanded, the mobility it´s easier, for this reason manage English language ever more necessary.

Here it´s a problem  (that is not own of English, happened with other subject too) , in the different  levels , the kind of teacher differ a lot, in one semester you can have someone very strict and tedious , other that pass a lot  material, other very entertaining, with other do not learn any. Then happened that when you advanced to the next level, we, the student have basis very different and that difficult the process. I think that use to blogs it´s good for practice the writing, that it´s the more lay aside to the moment to learn English, but I think that you learn with one another to speak and communicate, generate conversations.

My part weaker in English is the grammar, I have the basis very poor in this aspect, I like review some books and go bit by bit for having more practice. I have to say that each post to make a little easier.

Outside to University, when listen music or when I watch TV series, I try to do not put subtitle for to make understand what I listen and I think that grasp rather. Also I borrow a book from the library about contemporary art, this book it´s only in English (It so many good book of art that are not translated) for help me  with the grammar and can extend my vocabulary.  I hope these producing results… 

CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

I think this is a big topic, because I found it have many weaknesses the program than we have, I intend to focus…Here in art the curriculum it´s not as good, beside it has been in a constant change. There are many subjects than not is sufficiently focused, other use much time and not do much and many missing. We could have more optional courses, there are many areas to learning that we do not see, one artist must learn as much information and skill as possible for consolidate their learning, at the workshop level as well as theoretical level.

On the other hand we have the teachers, we have to all kinds, ones very good and exigent (which are the less), other have a lot of reputation to “artistic” level, but like a teacher…there is boring teachers without motivation, those who do not like share their knowledge and those who do not do so much or didn´t con from and  their assistants do the classes, it´s very important have a teacher with loves for educate and their be able to teach good, but this is a long way...

Also I think we are so alone, all art faculty is fragmented this as cause that the different fields of art  are not mixed and that it´s very important for gain knowledge, it was perfect if we could be all together and not separately to theater, music and dance  and to be able choose  freely subject to this areas.

This is the faculty than less resources receive to all University, I know that not generate resources but  they may worry on improving little by little some stuff and put better implementation and rather than leave so dispose.  Anyways the faculty needs to organize themselves and do more activities and be participatory than born from here want to improve.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS

It´s very easy, my boyfriend and I, we want to go to Isla Mocha, we go a few years ago and  it´s was awesome, we went with none expectation and it was a great trip!

We like to go in december and this way disappeared for all to a three moth, we want be very  far to Santiago and what better than an island. We will go to bus to Tirua and cross by boat (it´s delay  about 5 hours to cross), Isla Mocha is a small Chilean island located west of the coast of Arauco province in the Pasific Ocean. It´s a National Reserve.  we going to the west side  to island, on the back to continent, there we left the other time and we like visit to a family who provide floor for put our carp, come to this place this year can be great, have the possibility to do all the activity to island offer. We  can fish, work the land, explore the forest …In December start to the recollection of Luga, this is a brown algae, the laboratories used from cosmetics, creams, etc. the people of the island gathering on the border to the  beach, later is dry, it´s weight and sell like a $700 the kilogramme, this is imported to Europe. In this place used predominantly in cosmetics to many brand, later it´s como to our contry converted in cosmetics very expensive (classic to Chile). W e hope such as the other time remove Luga, it´s very interesting y educational be participate do traditional activities to the places where we go… the other time make money with that, we did $27.000 in one week, two hour by day.

This place have three store, all they to the other side to the island, for come there  the people can border  the beach or cross the forest, this delay 1 hour and 30 minutes one-way nad return the same, this is by day because at the night it´s very difficult  not be mistaken on the way, no light and  it many streams.

The best to this place it was the calm and peace, here live very few people it´s very difficult found much people gathered, the island have a abandoned lighthouse, one can up there, lunch there, enjoy, lower and walk for the beach  and the quiet and peaceful follow prevail in a place.

BEST CHILDHOOD ANECDOTE

When I was little my big brother and I were all the vacations in Rancagua with my grandmother and my cousins, we were 8 cousins in all with ages very alike, for summer vacations we goes one month to San Antonio to a house as my grandfather, from there we going to all beach to coast, our favorite beach it was Algarrobo, because it was a long trip where we would for much beach to be between, the trip lasted about 1 hour. We were the days than sun shining very much, we left early in the morning, like 9:30 and lunch there chicken with fries!!!

One on my favorites childhood anecdote it was in one of this trip, I was 11 years, we carry on sunblock stick called rayfilter, it was to many colors, we painted own faces and body’s with lines  and goes all day this way, this day we bathe since  to 14:00  as far as 19:00 nonstop, thus,  our faces and bodies with the sunblock left the marks, that at the time, the marks were a roast intense red, latter we had a football games on the beach.

Being already to 9 pm, we left to take a bus, we were 12 people in all, we take a bus and like always it was full, we are filled to bags. Strangely, much people exit from the bus in the next beach and all the cousins we sat down, like never before can do, we sit back, the music go to a high volume, my oldest cousin sang the music to song on the radio and we follow him, we had good audience because to finish they clapped, On long journey we going to sing, other people joined to sing, I remember laughing very much. When the people left the bus said their goodbyes, like a friends, when arrived to our destiny also say goodbyes to the passengers and the bus driver say us than hope have another trip together.

Finally turn in a friendly trip, to come all very tired to the beach, comes to sing and go happy to rest to our homes.
